standalone tokens · rework buttons + dialogs here, port back later

A private playground — the tokens in this file's :root are a copy, so a change reacts only here. The direction under test is are.na-flavoured monochrome: small buttons whose box shrinks but label holds, mostly boxless at rest, with three hover archetypes (colour-change → inverts on click · text-highlight grey→white · border-on-hover → brightens on click); and dialogs that drop the grey header/footer bars for a single inset hairline (never full width). Hover and click the specimens — the first panel also shows every state statically. When it's right, port into gallery.html and record the values in the eski-style skill.
